Technology Lead
Insight Global is looking for a Technology Lead for a client in Tucson, AZ.
* Client can support relocation for the right person who is open to moving to Tucson.*
Location:Tucson, AZ 85705 - fully onsite
Duration:Permanent
Salary Range:$125K - $143K + 15% bonus
RequiredSkills & Experience:
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role with full SDLC ownership
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience contributing directly to design, development, and delivery
- Proven experience with eCommerce platforms (Salesforce, Shopify, CCX, Big Commerce, or similar) and front‑end frameworks (React, Next.js, or equivalent)
- Strong expertise in headless commerce, PWA, and MACH architectures (microservices, API‑first, cloud‑native, headless)
- Demonstrated leadership of mobile development across native and hybrid stacks
- Deep understanding of mobile frameworks, app lifecycle management, and app store processes
- Solid knowledge of relational and No
SQL databases - Experience integrating payment systems and third‑party APIs
- Strong grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern Dev Ops practices
- Exposure to AI‑enabled development/automation/analytics (e.g., Copilot, AWS Sage Maker, or similar
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
As a Tech Lead, you will be a hands‑on technical driver for a small, highly capable engineering team, balancing individual contribution with technical leadership. You will design, build, and evolve APIs and platform capabilities while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high‑quality solutions. This role requires the ability to confidently represent technology in cross‑functional discussions, understand data and integration needs, and guide architectural decisions that support digital ecosystems, marketing automation, and real‑time customer experiences.
You will mentor and support 2–3 developers through technical guidance and example while helping establish best practices, maintaining architectural integrity, and making pragmatic technology decisions in an environment where multiple solutions are possible. The Tech Lead is expected to be a patient and influential doer who elevates the team’s technical maturity and may grow into broader leadership responsibilities as the organization scales.
