Senior Principal High-Performance Computing (HPC) Administrator P4Raytheon Digital Technology – Classified Transformation Information Services – Tucson AZ – onsite role.

This Senior Principal HPC candidate will provide Raytheon Digital Technology High Performance Computing Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. The candidate will understand Windows Server internals and Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
This position is onsite full time in Tucson, Arizona. Relocation support will be provided to the selected applicant if they meet company policy eligibility requirements.
What you will Do- Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
- Help develop and implement new technologies based upon industry best practices.
- Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of high scope and complexity, including the integration of High-Performance Computing hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Understand the use of software tools, automated scripts, batch schedulers, hardware, and system-level troubleshooting to lead and support the engineering community.
- Perform OS tuning to maximize performance on HPC systems and standardize processes across DT functions.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
- Provide documentation and training on advanced DT HPC processes. Mentor junior team members.
- University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum 5 years experience.
- Must obtain required DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and Operating System certification within 6 months of hire.
- Experience in Windows and/or Linux Server environments including directory services management and system hardening.
- Experience maintaining a medium-sized Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- HPC experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience with HPC scheduling and monitoring tools.
- Project leadership or management experience within a DT domain; scripting experience.
- Active DoD Secret or Top‑Secret clearance.
- Advanced hands‑on experience with Windows and Unix security hardening, systems integrations, advanced troubleshooting, and authentication service integration.
- Unix (including Linux and Solaris) experience in a medium‑to‑high complex environment.
- Knowledge of HPC scheduling and monitoring tools such as SLURM, Grid Engine, and Ganglia.

The salary range for this role is $107,500 - $204,500 USD.

Specific benefits depend on business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement.
