• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server to include but not limited to Active Directory, Group Policy, & DNS.
• Advanced Red Hat Enterprise Linux knowledge.
• Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
• Experience with data RAID, data encryption, and data backup uses and technologies.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
• Must be able to develop solutions and documentation a variety of technical problems.
• Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
• Travel is required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate up to 5% travel.

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 5 years of direct experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued top secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with Linux and Windows.
• Must have lead or mentoring experience.

• Strong leadership, teamwork, communication (written and oral), collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Deep experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and its ecosystem, including authentication and identity services (SSSD, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS) and file sharing/integration services (Samba, NFS).
• Expertise with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite, along with strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Perl, or C to support provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with enterprise storage systems (e.g., Net App) and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) technologies such as Horizon, Profile Unity, and NVIDIA GPU virtualization (NLS, DLS).
• Proficiency with monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and compliance assessment tools (ACAS, Splunk, Nessus, SCAP, STIG, Nagios, Solar Winds) and working knowledge of security frameworks (CMMC, NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, DoD RMF).
