Overview
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to be out in the field!
Must be willing to drive within the Tucson, AZ area
Essential Job Functions- Perform ultrasound therapy on wound patients.
- Order medical supplies.
- Scribe for respective doctors.
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients.
- Coordinate skin sweep scheduling.
- Make Initial Assessment calls.
- 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong awareness of medical terminology
- Strong desire for patient care
M- F 8am-5pm
Pay Structure (1099)Guaranteed base pay of $810 per week
Base is calculated at $27/patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day
$27 per additional patient visit for any visits beyond the daily base
