- Ensures the highest level of customer service possible.
- Displays respect and concern for all patients.
- Attends all clinic huddles and clinic monthly meetings.
- Drives company vehicles to and from individual patient care facilities/home per assigned schedule.
- Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
- Secures passengers' wheelchairs with restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
- Communicates with clinic staff or Center Director to report disruption of service.
- Responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and fueling of assigned vehicle, as well as documenting, reporting, and/or correcting any deficiencies found during the inspection.
- Ensures vehicles are taken for maintenance/inspections as per maintenance/inspection schedule.
- Keeps records of trips, mileage, and accidents.
- Alerts emergency medical services and clinic staff of any emergency patient may have during trip.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Applicant must have a minimum age of 25.
- Clean Driving Record (MVP) in past 7 years.
- Clean Criminal Background.
- 2+ years progressive work experience in the healthcare transportation.
- 2+ years of customer service.
- Bi‑lingual English/Spanish required.
- Experience with operating wheelchair securing devices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current and valid state issued driver’s license in good standing.
- CPR/BLS Certified (Willing to obtain within 7 days of employment).
