Behavioral Health Specialist – Tucson, AZ (Pool/PRN)

Join Connections Health Solutions as a Behavioral Health Specialist in Tucson, AZ. We are a leading provider of immediate‑access behavioral health crisis care, combining medical and recovery‑oriented treatment to stabilize individuals in crisis and connect them to community resources.

• $2/hr shift differential (Monday‑Thursday nights)
• $3/hr shift differential (Friday‑Sunday nights)
• $2/hr shift differential (Saturday‑Sunday days)

• Maintain safety of patients and staff, conduct security screenings, and provide orientation to units.
• Intervene with escalated individuals using therapeutic de‑escalation techniques and perform restraints or seclusion when necessary.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
• Document vitals, lab work, and significant interactions in the Electronic Health Record.
• Attend court‑ordered hearings and provide testimony as required.
• Keep units clean and maintain hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in behavioral health, social services, or related field.
• Ability to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
• Full vaccination as required by the company policy.
• Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Certified training (Safe Clinch, CPR, First Aid, therapeutic options, etc.).
• Completion of CNA or Patient Care Tech program.
• Two years experience in behavioral health.
• BHT certification.
