Compensation and Schedule for the Referral Clerk

Referral Clerk - Full-time, onsite, $18-$21 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Great opportunities for growth and additional training!

• 1+ years of recent medical office, neurology practice, or healthcare call center experience required
• Recent medical referrals, prior authorization, and insurance verification experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10/CPT coding preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

• Coordinate, process, and schedule medical referrals and prior authorizations
• Ensure referrals are completed efficiently and accurately
• Adhere to third-party payer requirements
• Answer phones
• Reschedule appointments and handle recalls
• Provide front desk support as needed
