We are a dedicated home care agency serving clients
* in Oro Valley*.Our mission is to connect compassionate caregivers with clients who need quality, reliable support.
** Responsibilities
* ** Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Provide personal care including assistance with mobility and transferring using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
* Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
* Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and tidying of the home.
* Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
* Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
* Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia, through patient observation and tailored activities.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
** Qualifications
* ** Previous experience in home health, senior care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
* Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA regulations, and patient monitoring techniques is essential.
* Familiarity with caregiving tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, and cleaning duties.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Experience working with people with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist clients in physical mobility tasks.
* A compassionate nature combined with patience and understanding towards clients’ needs is crucial for success in this role.
