Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (FT)

Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital invites applications for the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (FT) role.

Performs components of occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Patients range from 18 years to geriatric undergoing rehabilitation. Assist patients in achieving maximum functional performance while learning to live within their capabilities. Record patient responses to treatment and report outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.

Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames.
