ResponsibilitiesThe Behavioral Health Specialist will provide client supervision and care as part of the treatment team. The BHS will supervise and facilitate the daily milieu of programs/services as assigned, such as assisting with activities of daily living skills, educational and community/recovery groups, and activity therapy. Read and implement a client’s treatment plan. Provide clients with positive cues and redirection.
ShiftShifts come in one 6 hour shift, and three 12 hour shifts.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED, no experience needed.
- Bachelor's or master's degree, no experience necessary
- Associate degree plus one (1) year of behavioral health work experience
- High School Diploma or GED plus Peer Support Specialist certification plus two (2) years of behavioral health work experience
- High School Diploma or GED plus four (3) years of behavioral health work experience
- Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record.
