Occupational Therapist - Santa Rosa Care Center
We are looking for a Full‑Time Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house rehab program at the Santa Rosa Care Center in Tucson, AZ. The facility offers long‑term, short‑term, and geriatric post‑acute care services. As part of our stable and fun in‑house therapy team, you will support our geriatric clientele on their journey to recovery.
Base Pay Range$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr (based on experience)

- Licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Open to applicants of all experience levels.
- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL or physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or ADL or physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, etc.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Modify services in relation to patient evaluation and make referrals as indicated.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
