Schedule:

Full-time Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm with weekend rotation

Clinical liaisons are highly competent nurses and therapists who understand the business side of health care. They educate patients and families on the goals of medical rehabilitation, assess patients to determine individual care needs, review medical records, and coordinate with hospital teams to ensure safe and timely transfers. They build strong relationships that increase referrals and admissions.

In this highly visible and rewarding role, you will assume a leadership position, developing and nurturing professional relationships with case managers, physicians and clinicians in acute care hospitals. You will educate staff, patients and families about rehabilitation services and assess patients with rehabilitation diagnoses at referring hospitals for admission, managing the referral process.

• Create target lists of contacts and decision makers in assigned hospitals, develop relationships, provide excellent customer service and educate referral sources on the hospital’s services.
• Demonstrate positive referrer satisfaction and account retention.
• Educate potential patients and families about acute rehabilitation and the benefits of the program, and distribute collateral materials appropriately.
• Support sales and marketing through educational programs, tours, and meetings in assigned hospitals.
• Develop strategies to grow market share in core business lines in assigned hospitals, create quarterly goals and objectives, and submit them to the supervisor.
• Work with the VP/Director of Business Development to identify opportunities for expanding strategic business initiatives.

• Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist. Multi‑state licensure is required based on geographic territory.

• Two years of related experience in a clinical healthcare setting or a clinical liaison role.
• Demonstrated competency with the preadmission process, including assessments and relationship building in a rehabilitation or other post‑acute care setting.
• Proven track record in sales and marketing, with at least one year of related experience.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement in handling professional and confidential health care sales situations.
