Overview
Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Full‑Time Days
LocationSelect Specialty Hospital – Tucson (located on Northwest Medical Center’s campus)
Schedule7 a.m. – 7 p.m., 3 days per week, rotating weekends
CompensationStarting at $18.14 per hour. Increases based on years of experience.

- Perform patient services including bathing using basin‑less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
- Participate in hourly rounds.
- Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
- Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
- Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant).
