Position SummaryUnder minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
- Completes required exams.
- Sends studies to reading station for radiologist review.
- Completes all associated documentation.
- Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
- Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
- Certifications:
ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training. - Must obtain MRI Registry credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 1 year of hire.
- AHA BLS. State license if required.
- Experience:
1-3 years. - Education:
Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree. - Certifications:
ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) Credential.
