MRI Technologist

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

• Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
• Completes required exams.
• Sends studies to reading station for radiologist review.
• Completes all associated documentation.
• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
• Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
• Certifications:
  
  ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training.
• Must obtain MRI Registry credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 1 year of hire.
• AHA BLS. State license if required.

• Experience:
  
  1-3 years.
• Education:
  
  Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree.
• Certifications:
  
  ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) Credential.
