Medical Technologist; Notional

Join our team as a Medical Technologist (Notional Opportunity) at Acuity International. This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States, with travel likely required.

• Performing complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests.
• Analyzing body fluids and cells, matching blood for transfusions, and maintaining blood products according to AABB standards.
• Testing chemical content of fluids, drug levels, and other chemical reactions.
• Preparing specimens, analyzing test results, and relaying findings to physicians.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed to handle biohazardous materials.
• Maintaining equipment, ordering supplies, and keeping accurate records.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Certification by AMT, ASCP, or NCA.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Current clinical experience in direct patient care within the last 6 months.
• Proficiency in computer skills and MS Office.
• Ability to adapt to shift changes and work under operational needs.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident for at least 3 of the past 5 years.

• Current adjudicated DHS clearance.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Primarily indoor office environment.
• Sitting and standing for extended periods.
