Position evaluates patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehab of speech, language, hearing and oral motor disorders. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/reassessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation. Provides quality speech therapy services according to the principles and practices of speech therapy.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients using a broad range of therapeutic techniques for rehab of speech, language, hearing and oral motor disorders.
- Serve as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/reassessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation.
- Provide quality speech therapy services in accordance with professional standards.
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Masters Degree from an Accredited Program in Speech Language Pathology.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year of clinical experience. Acute care modified swallow experience.
- REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Licensure in the State of Arizona. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or documented acceptance into a Clinical Fellowship year. CPR.
