The Aesthetician performs, explains, and schedules cosmetic procedures, consults, and treatment regimens regarding select treatments available at Forefront Dermatology. This position actively promotes/sells cosmetic products, pricing, and services. Actively promotes/sells cosmetic products and services. Performs, explains, and schedules select cosmetic consults and treatments per protocols. Provides appropriate patient education and after‑care instructions. Provides recommendations for cosmetic service enhancements and implements approved plans within specified time frames.

Assists with the development of advertising and promotional materials.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for all cosmetic discussions regarding all available cosmetic treatment options.
• Responsible for after‑care instructions, relaying information between the doctor and the patient, and scheduling appropriate follow‑up and treatments.

Education,

Skills & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited esthetician program or 1+ years of related experience in a medical office or spa setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer functions and keyboarding is required.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and operate standard office equipment is required.
• Ability to understand physician’s instructions and know when to seek additional information or clarification is required.
• Demonstrates professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Ability to display a friendly, cheerful, tactful, and polite demeanor and compassionate care in dealing with others is required.
