GENERAL
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the efficient and effective servicing of high-level loan maintenance. Responsible for reviewing and decision making of Loan Modifications and Workout Loans, research and processing of Credit Disputes, review and processing of Service members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) requests, Daily and monthly review and processing of loan reports, and balancing General Ledgers related to payment processing and protection products. Expected to take an active role in process improvement projects related to Loan Servicing functions.
Incumbent is responsible for meeting goals as set by management.
Salary range is $21.42 - $28.12/hour. Job Grade, NE-10. Final salary is dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience, servicing loans, underwriting, or analyzing data
Additional Preferred
Education & Experience:
- Understanding of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, CDIA Credit Reporting Guidelines and Service members Relief Act
- Knowledge of Symitar/Episys systems
- General understanding of loan underwriting
Minimum Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Must have professional, clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must possess a short learning curve related to assimilation of new skills and task

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:
This job requires that the employee sit at a desk or PC work station a majority of the time. The employee must be able to work a minimum five-day workweek (40 hours) with availability for nights and/or weekends as required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
The incumbent is required to comply with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:
Acts as liaison with all credit reporting agencies and quickly reports any systematical issues to management to ensure compliance with the Metro 2 Format.
