Our Financial Services EY EDGE practice provides dedicated tax technical services to both U.S. and global clients. FSO EDGE State & Local Tax offers comprehensive, specialized assistance tailored to our clients’ unique needs.

• Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights
• Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to our clients
• Learning and researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor
• Developing clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve our clients’ tax activities
• Researching clients’ business operations and building long‑lasting relationships to tailor advice to their specific needs
• Working with a motivated team of professionals
• Building effective long‑term relationships with our clients
• Maintaining reputation in the field by continuously updating and sharing technical and best‑practice knowledge

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline or a graduate degree in Tax or Law
• Progress toward CPA or Enrolled Agent license
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in professional services or a professional tax organization
• A thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and laws within your area of technical professionalism
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, and the confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
• A commitment to continuing your learning

• A thorough understanding of state and local partnership tax
• Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Return Preparation Software
• Experience working in a variety of teams
• Ability to adapt your work style to collaborate with both internal and client team members

• Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranges in the U.S. from $81,900 to $135,100 (variations by geography). Includes medical, dental, pension, 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
• Hybrid work model: most client‑serving roles work in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement.
• Flexible vacation policy with additional time off for EY holidays, breaks, family care, and other leaves of absence.
