Principal Program Controls Specialist; Onsite

What You Will Do

• Support of development cost‑plus contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) contracts.
• Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.
• Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution.
• Support of all program financial aspects including financial planning (LRP, AOP, working capital, monthly financial performance reporting, and NBI).
• Program controls such as developing estimates at complete (EACs) and execution of EVM.

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience and understanding of the program business role, APEX, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
• Department of Defense experience.
• Experience with computer/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience in a matrix environment.
• Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines.
• Ability to drive change and influence beyond authority level.
• Experience in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to management and peers.
• Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) when interfacing with all levels of the company.
• Experience managing multiple DoD contracts.

  Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.

-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
