Electronics Test & Debug Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking an Electronics Test & Debug Engineer with experience supporting complex electronic systems, mixed‑signal testing, and production troubleshooting. This role involves hands‑on engineering in both lab and production environments, supporting integration, manufacturing, and hardware validation.
Required SkillsCandidates should have experience with one or more of the following areas:
- Testing and/or debugging digital, analog, RF, and/or mixed‑signal circuit card assemblies (CCAs) or electro‑mechanical systems
- Performing Root‑Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
- Providing manufacturing and test support for electronic assemblies
- Proficiency with standard lab equipment, such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Logic analyzers
- Function generators
- Power supplies
- Other diagnostic equipment
- Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- Prior production‑support engineering experience supporting electrical or mechanical hardware
- Experience in electronic subsystem or CCA design, including:
- Digital/analog/RF electronics
- EO or sensor/seeker systems
- Circuit design, assembly, electrical testing
- Supplier and sub‑tier support
- Test automation scripting
- PCB fabrication and CCA manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as:
- Mentor Graphics Designer
- PSPICE, System Vision
- MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL
- CST, HFSS, ADS
- Spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
- Experience with:
- Subsystem integration & test
- Post‑test analysis
- SPC methods for yield improvement
Technical writing and formal technical presentations - Implementing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Ability to operate independently or within a small technical team
- Experience providing technical oversight, task leadership, cost estimation, reporting, and proposal support
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
