Mechanical Engineer

Compensation: $42.00 – $45.00 per hour

An established engineering organization is seeking a motivated and hands-on Mechanical Engineer with experience in electro-mechanical devices. This onsite position involves contributing to the design, development, testing, and support of complex mechanical systems.

The successful candidate will apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to support product development initiatives, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Generate and develop design concepts for electro-mechanical systems
• Participate in formal design reviews and technical evaluations
• Conduct development and performance testing to ensure compliance with design specifications
• Perform reliability testing and analyze system interactions
• Make sound engineering decisions within established procedures and guidelines
• Assist in the development and refinement of manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot production and design issues to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions
• Contribute to process improvements and continuous quality initiatives
• Support efforts to reduce patentable concepts to practice
• Present technical data and findings to cross-functional teams
• Monitor work to ensure adherence to quality standards and promote a "Quality First Time" approach
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience working with electro-mechanical devices
• Knowledge of basic and specialized engineering techniques and principles
• Ability to research and interpret technical literature
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, graphical, and presentation software
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team environment
