Sonoran Land Resources is growing and seeking a motivated Right of Way (ROW) Analyst or Agent I, II, or III to join our Acquisition Team. - Conduct thorough ROW research and analysis to determine existing rights and identify new acquisition needs
- Perform ROW checks for private and federal lands, depending on project scope
- Procure, and review title commitments, and ownership records
- Request and coordinate Permissions to Survey with landowners and agencies
- Analyze land surveys, engineering drawings, environmental documents, and project impacts
- Maintain accurate and organized project tracking in and internal/client databases
- Coordinate closely with professionals in:
- Environmental and Land Use Planning teams
- Cultural Resources / Archaeology
- Survey
- GIS / Mapping
- Realty and ROW departments
- Correspond and collaborate with federal agencies, regulatory entities, and private landowners
- Support public outreach efforts, including participation in community meetings and stakeholder engagement
- Assist in negotiations by supporting compensation coordination, documentation preparation, and follow-up communication
- Maintain detailed and defensible documentation of outreach and negotiation efforts
- Experience in right of way, land acquisition, or real estate
- Experience with Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Act
- Arizona Revised Statutes related to ROW Acquisition
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, surveys, and legal descriptions
- Practical understanding of land title practices and review
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Experience with project tracking systems such as
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active projects
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
- Degree in a related field or equivalent ROW experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel as required by project assignments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
- Professional communication skills when interacting with landowners, agencies, clients, and project teams
