We are seeking a Senior Principal Low Observable Materials Engineer in Tucson, AZ, to lead the development and integration of advanced low observable (LO) materials and coatings.
- Design, analyze, and test innovative LO materials to enhance stealth capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop material solutions aligned with program goals.
- Conduct research on material properties, fabrication processes, and environmental durability.
- Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving for LO material performance issues.
- Document findings, prepare technical reports, and present results to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Strong background in materials science, chemistry, or related fields with expertise in electromagnetic stealth materials, coatings, or composites. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
