Job Description # System Safety Engineer, Principal P4 - Cleared on site
* Bachelor’s degree in
** Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
*** Experience in one or more of the following areas:  +
** System Safety Engineering**  +
** Systems Engineering**  +
** Electrical Engineering**  +
** Software or Firmware Engineering**  + Equivalent engineering discipline supporting system safety
* Experience performing engineering
** troubleshooting, evaluation, and analysis
*** Ability to integrate within multidisciplinary engineering teams
* ** Active Secret security clearance
** required prior to start
- Minimum
** 8+ years
** of relevant Systems Engineering or Safety Engineering experience
* * An advanced degree may substitute for years of experience
** Experience with
** Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
** and proposal development
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional engineering teams

- Experience with
** DoD System Safety Programs**, including
** MIL‑STD‑882**- Experience implementing system and software safety in an
** Agile development environment**- Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with
** 6+ years
** of relevant experience
