Job Description # FPGA Engineer - P3 - Cleared On-Site
* Bachelor’s degree in
** Electrical Engineering
** or a closely related field
* Minimum
** 3+ years
** of relevant professional engineering experience
* Experience with one or more of the following:  + Digital, analog, RF, or mixed‑signal testing and/or debugging  + Complex circuit card assemblies (CCAs)  + Electro‑mechanical systems
* Hands‑on experience with
** Root‑Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
** investigations* Proven experience supporting
** manufacturing and electronic test environments
*** Proficiency operating lab equipment such as:  + Oscilloscopes  + Logic analyzers  + Function generators  + Power supplies  + Other standard diagnostic tools
* Ability to interpret
** schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)**
* ** Active Secret clearance
** required at start
* Experience supporting production in a large defense or aerospace environment
* Electrical engineering experience with CCAs, EO/IR, RF, seeker/sensor, or other electronic subsystems
* Experience in:  + Circuit design  + CCA assembly  + Electrical test  + Test automation scripting  + Sensor control  + PCB fabrication  + CCA processes and relevant industry specifications
* Familiarity with design and analysis tools such as:  +
** Mentor Graphics Designer**  +
** PSPICE / System Vision**  +
** MATLAB / Mathcad / IDL**  +
** CST, HFSS, ADS**  + Signal generators, oscilloscopes, RF analyzers
* Experience with subsystem integration & test, and post‑test data analysis
* Experience investigating issues, performing SPC analyses, and improving production yields
* Strong technical writing and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and within small, focused technical teams
* Experience providing:  + Technical oversight  + Cost estimation  + Task tracking & reporting  + Coordination across functions  + Detailed engineering reports  + Proposal support
