Location: Tucson, AZ (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Product Development Test Engineer to support a new medical/biotech product development program in the feasibility phase
. This role is lab-focused and involves Design of Experiments (DOE), test method validation, and system characterization for electro‑mechanical diagnostic instruments.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2 4 years of hands‑on industry experience
  • Experience in New Product Development (NPD)
  • Strong experience with Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Test Method Validation experience
  • Ability to write and execute laboratory and engineering test protocols
  • Experience working in biotech, medical devices, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, and Six Sigma DOE tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
Responsibilities
  • Perform lab‑based testing using assays and tissue samples
  • Execute system characterization and feasibility assessments
  • Analyze test data, document results, and support design input creation
  • Contribute to experimental design, validation, and process improvements
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D and engineering teams

Pay Range

The national base pay range below is a good‑faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client’s assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $39- $42 per hour on W2.
