• Perform structure design and design verification (capable to do complex design in Creo).
• Perform component placement & weld analysis.
• Apply strong knowledge in strength of materials and structural design.
• Understand end-to-end manufacturing processes for structural components.
• Create new designs and resolve manufacturing or building sequence issues; ensure design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
• Knowledge of top-down approach on large assemblies.
• Actively support prototype, pilot, or production builds and perform audits.
• Perform bolted joint analysis;
  Creo simulate or equivalent FEA analysis.
• Apply design-related Advanced Product Quality Planning steps.
• Understand Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing, engineering drawings, manufacturing & assembling processes, and Machine Bill of Materials.
• Perform design calculations and be accountable for design decisions.
• Communicate results to customers and suppliers.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic & Cooling line design is an added advantage.
• Understand NPI / CPI processes; vehicle integration knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience with Creo; use of DFM tools & technologies to implement DFM.
• Conceptual thinking and problem solving in design contexts.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Structure design and design verification (capable to do complex design in Creo).
• Initiative and ability to self-start tasks.
