Responsibilities- Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Establish procedures for and implement the introduction of changes to engineering documents for an assigned program and represent the functional group in the implementation of common processes.
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities (including classified support).
- Ensure implementation of customer and internal configuration management requirements.
- Manage change and status accounting activities to ensure compliance with contractual and configuration management policies.
- Establish and control configuration identification processes and baselines.
- University degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 3 years experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Configuration Management experience.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with technology and computing tools (PDM, SAP, or similar).
- Active U.S. government issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Project planning competency.
- Strong interpersonal skills collaborating with engineering disciplines.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical data issues related to configuration management.
