Layout Designer

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Layout Designer to join our team.

The role focuses on development and preparation of multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering.

• Development and preparation of multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry.
• Work may be completed through use of CAD equipment.
• Check dimensions, write specifications, and verify completed drawings, artwork or digitized plots.
• May check design layouts and detailed drawings.

• Minimum education:
  
  Associate's degree in Engineering or related field of study, or program certificate in Advanced IC Mask Layout Design.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
• Ability to take initiative and drive for results.
• Strong time management skills that enable on‑time project delivery.
