About the OpportunityThe Effectors Center within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer – Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE) to support the Coyote Block 2C program. This joint urgent operational need (JUON) program is fielded in high‑rate development and is pursuing DD250 certification. The role requires designing, developing, and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to shape innovative solutions for our customers.
WhatYou Will Do
- Develop system and subsystem requirements for complex systems by collaborating with IPTLs and SMEs to obtain necessary design information.
- Work with peers and program technical SMEs to review deliverable work products through the formal release process.
- Participate in integration, troubleshooting, and failure investigations.
- Communicate with the Systems IPTL to provide status, accomplishments, issues, and help needed.
- Organize technical discussions to formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in defining, de‑composing, and establishing verification approaches for requirements through specification release.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, and other program stakeholders to make informed technical design decisions.
- Experience with requirements management and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo.
- Capacity to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with military systems, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Familiarity with DoD customer infrastructure and the systems engineering product development cycle.

Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
