Role: DSP Communications Engineer
Perform cutting‑edge research and development on real‑time Software Defined Radio (SDR) and protocol processing systems. Work autonomously without supervision as a DSP Engineer developing engineering solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals for the Intelligence and Defense communities. This role requires extensive software development background with the ability to develop modeling techniques, produce proofs‑of‑concept, evolve prototype solutions, and deliver operational systems.
Apply your knowledge of digital communications including detection, estimation, and demodulation while working in complex RF environments. Two positions are available for exceptional candidates with active TS/SCI clearance who can contribute to critical defense and intelligence operations with top benefits and stock options.
• Develop engineering solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals
• Produce proofs‑of‑concept and deliver operational systems
• Apply knowledge of digital communications and signal processing in complex RF environments
• Work autonomously and deliver results with minimal supervision
- MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN with ACTIVE and CURRENT Top Secret SSBI/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience developing engineering solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals
- Strong knowledge of digital communications including detection, estimation, and demodulation
- Proven ability to develop modeling techniques, produce proofs‑of‑concept, and deliver operational systems
- Strong C/C++ and Python development experience
- Systems development experience within the Intelligence and Defense communities
- Familiarity with code‑management tools (e.g., Git)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision
- Stable employment history (no job hoppers)
- Knowledge of Software Defined Radio (SDR) preferred
- XMIDAS familiarity preferred
- Geolocation theory and techniques knowledge preferred
- Experience working in complex RF environments preferred
- Knowledge of wireless air‑interface protocols preferred
- Knowledge of multi‑threaded signal‑processing algorithms in Python/C++ on Linux hosts preferred
- Exceptional annual salary of $140,000 to $175,000
