This is a full‑time/on‑site position to be worked out of our Tucson, Arizona office.
The Client Engineering department serves as a vital link between the commercial, clients and the technical teams. Eclipse Mining Technologies is looking for an engineer that will be instrumental in ensuring a successful experience for our global clients. Your role will involve, among other duties, effectively conveying complex product and technical information to the sales and marketing teams, supporting the sales process, assisting with product implementation, and providing training to fulfill customer needs.
In other words, you will become product evangelists for our flagship product, Source One.
- Product Demonstrations and Presentations:
Assist the Sales team to conduct detailed product demonstrations, showing potential customers how the product works and its advantages. - Needs Analysis and Solution Design:
Work closely with the sales team and potential clients to understand their specific data‑related challenges and objectives, and propose a product best use‑case for integrating the product with the customer's existing systems or processes. - Liaison Between Sales and Engineering:
Act as a bridge between the sales team and the engineering or product development teams, translating customer needs into technical requirements and conveying technical feedback to improve the product. - Post‑Sales Support:
Provide necessary technical support after the sale, assisting with the implementation of the product and ensuring it is working as intended. - Training and
Education:
Train both the sales team and customers on the technical aspects of the product to ensure everyone involved understands how to use and sell the product effectively. - Feedback Loop:
Gather customer feedback and share it with the product development team to influence future product improvements and updates. - Assist in building internal processes for codifying our team efforts, such as documented processes for technical demos, worksheets to assist clients pre‑implementation, deployment guides, etc.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Management Information Systems, a relevant specialized engineering field or a related field.
- Exposure to data technologies is required.
- Exposure to knowledge engineering, knowledge graphs and/or ontology is preferred.
- Experience in non‑mining large‑scale industries (oil, gas, construction, manufacturing, etc.) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client‑facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while also paying attention to details and deadlines.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt, as this role requires continuously improving skills and keeping up with the latest industry trends.
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for product success.
