As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring software solutions from concept to reality. Your work will directly support Continuous Product Improvement (CPI), New Product Introduction (NPI), and aftermarket machine technology.
Your Responsibilities- Design and implement robust, scalable software solutions to satisfy customer and business expectations.
- Write clear, structured, and well‑documented software requirements.
- Develop control logic using PLC and HMI.
- Provide technical expertise on PLC/HMI systems and embedded software technologies.
- Create, develop, and execute test plans to validate software on benches and machines.
- Support ERS CPI, aftermarket, and NPI activities.
- Collaborate with partner teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Hands‑on experience in software development.
- Experience with Siemens Step 7 and WinCC.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC5 and Factory Talk.
- Background in off‑highway trucks and/or mining equipment.
- Experience with MATLAB Simulink, C, and C++.
- Analytical Thinking:
Use tools like flowcharts and root‑cause analysis to solve real‑world engineering challenges. - Effective Communication:
Translate technical ideas into clear, actionable insights for diverse teams. - Multitasking Mastery:
Balance multiple projects and shifting priorities with confidence. - Technical Excellence:
Deliver high‑quality, innovative solutions that meet rigorous standards. - CAD & Engineering Tools:
Apply CAD tools to support design and development. - Product Design & Development:
Contribute to the full lifecycle of product innovation—from concept to production.
