The Processing, Guidance and Controls (PG&C) Center, part of the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Discipline, includes Guidance, Navigation and Control;
Signal Processing; and Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis. The Signal Processing team designs, develops, prototypes, integrates, tests and evaluates radar frequency (RF) or electro‑optical/infrared (EO/IR) algorithms and models that support calibration, de‑noising, acquisition, tracking, classification and sensor fusion for our missile systems.
- Act as a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge of signal processing to support development, execution, and completion of complex missile systems program objectives.
- Use and modify simulations for the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of signal processing algorithms and models.
- Participate in engineering lab environments to test, verify, and validate sensor models and procedure performance in accordance with requirements.
- Integrate algorithms into hardware and collaborate throughout all development phases from program start‑up to live‑fire testing, supporting design reviews, peer reviews and technical briefings.
- Share your knowledge and mentor others.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Signal processing experience in RF or EO/IR domains.
- Proficiency in C++ programming language.
- Experience with algorithm design, implementation, analysis, testing and optimization.
- Ability to obtain an interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance prior to start with the ability to obtain special program access afterward.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
- Experience with missile systems applications supporting customer programs.
- Experience with version control tools such as Azure Dev Ops and Git.
- Experience with multiple RF or EO/IR algorithms such as adaptive processing, angle estimation, synthetic aperture radar, waveform design, edge detection, segmentation, image restoration or feature extraction.
- Proficiency in using MATLAB or Python for data set analysis.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting analysis to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with hardware/software integration.
- Ability to interface with adjacent disciplines (Guidance, Navigation, Control; Software Engineering; Systems Engineering; or Hardware Engineering).

- Salary range: 82,000 – 164,000 USD, representative of all experience levels.
