About the role

The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience. In this hands‑on position you will design, develop, and integrate test solutions across the entire product lifecycle for Raytheon’s mission‑critical systems.

• Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Develop both engineering and production test systems, including test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit design, and analysis.
• Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage the technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
• Act, independently or as part of a team, to uncover and resolve development implementation issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and testing.
• Experience with design tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters.
• Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.

• Master’s degree in STEM; ABET accreditation preferred.
• Technical leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
• Analog, digital, and/or RF design experience.
• Design, testing, and integration of digital, mixed‑signal, and electrical system interconnects.
• Experience with software debugging tools.
• Strong project management skills, including bid and proposal experience.
• Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
• Programming experience and ability to troubleshoot root causes.
• Experience with RTX projects, programs, or systems advantageous.
