About the role
The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience. In this hands‑on position you will design, develop, and integrate test solutions across the entire product lifecycle for Raytheon’s mission‑critical systems.
What You Will Do- Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Develop both engineering and production test systems, including test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit design, and analysis.
- Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage the technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
- Act, independently or as part of a team, to uncover and resolve development implementation issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and testing.
- Experience with design tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters.
- Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
- Master’s degree in STEM; ABET accreditation preferred.
- Technical leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
- Analog, digital, and/or RF design experience.
- Design, testing, and integration of digital, mixed‑signal, and electrical system interconnects.
- Experience with software debugging tools.
- Strong project management skills, including bid and proposal experience.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
- Programming experience and ability to troubleshoot root causes.
- Experience with RTX projects, programs, or systems advantageous.

Salary Range82,000 USD – 164,000 USD.
