Electrical Production Support Engineer – Defense Systems Overview
Supports production and supplier operations for mission-critical defense electronics through rapid troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Responsibilities- Resolve production and supplier hardware issues impacting defense systems
- Conduct root-cause investigations on complex electronic assemblies
- Drive engineering changes through formal configuration control processes
- Support production test, reliability, and yield improvement efforts
- Interface with suppliers and participate in technical reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years supporting electronic hardware in production or test environments
- Experience troubleshooting digital, analog, RF, or mixed-signal electronics
- Proficiency with standard electronic lab equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering documentation
- Aerospace or defense program experience
- CCA, RF, sensor, or subsystem integration and test experience
- Knowledge of SPC and configuration management
