Senior HWIL Software Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically necessary
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in software development
• Proficiency in C++ programming language
• Active and transferable Secret security clearance is mandatory prior to the start date
• U.S. citizenship is required to qualify for a security clearance
• Preferred degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Experience in the design, development, or integration of testing equipment or controlling complex hardware systems
• Strong organizational, coordination, and planning abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Software Agile Process
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment
• Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) terminology is beneficial
• Existing SSBI clearance is a plus

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to create software for Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop (HWIL) facilities, specifically flight simulators for missiles
• Engage in software design, coding, and integration within a real‑time setup
• Be prepared for travel up to 20% to assist with the development or delivery of our test environment equipment
• Perform integration tasks that align requirements with measured outcomes
• Troubleshoot RF systems effectively in various settings
