Raytheon is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to support design and integration of different test environments. The individual will need to be familiar with designing using various tools (Autocad, Creo parametric, etc).

* What You Will Do:

*** Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization.
* Perform system design and integration activities within HWIL facilities
** What You Will Learn:
*** System level knowledge of developmental programs within HWIL.
* Advanced signal generation and presentation, across IF and RF test environments
* Experience working across multi-disciplined group of engineers.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
* Experience with design tools such as Auto Cad and/or Creo Parametric.
* Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills
* Existing SSBI clearance
* Experience with mechanical design and/or experience conducting data analysis
* Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers
* Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
* Able to work and interface with a cross-discipline team
* Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance
* Familiar with various communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, CAN, 1553
* Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar languages; scripting languages such as Python and/or Perl, and MATLAB scripts for data analysis purposes
