Precise Systems is a solutions‑based company focused on innovation in support of warfighters. We provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs. The position is a six‑month contract with potential for long‑term or permanent placement.

Responsibilities
  • Support client operations in Arizona, working on technical projects that require analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain engineering solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform schematic capture, physical layout, component selection, simulation, and testing of circuit cards.
  • Apply engineering principles to analyze, design, and develop systems or components according to requirements.
  • Conduct tests, collect data, and document results to ensure quality control and compliance.
  • Use CAD software to create technical drawings and models, participate in design reviews, and provide technical input to improve processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, implement corrective actions, and provide regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Interpret technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior team members, contribute to knowledge sharing, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements.
Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
  • Professional engineering certification or license preferred but not required
Required Experience
  • 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Circuit Card Design experience
  • Demonstrated experience in design, development, or maintenance of engineering systems
  • Experience with testing methodologies and quality control processes
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working in a client‑facing environment
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical reports
  • Background in implementing and following quality control procedures
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams
  • Prior work in a similar industry preferred
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving experience in engineering contexts
  • Experience mentoring junior team members (plus)
  • Professional engineering certification or license preferred but not required

Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
