Raytheon is seeking a Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Principal Systems Integrator. The role requires experience troubleshooting and integrating various systems. The individual will need to be familiar with mapping requirements to measured results.
** Responsibilities to Anticipate
*** Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization.
* Perform system integration activities within HWIL facilities to support system signal presentation
* Lead troubleshooting and failure investigation activities within HWIL facilities.
* Assist in generating requirements, statements of work, and verification plans to support HWIL design activities.
* Participate on HWIL engineering teams which perform test system design, assembly and integration activities on developmental programs.
* Work in a team environment in HWIL facilities which support the full lifecycle of system development and sustainment activities.
** What You Will Learn
*** System level knowledge of developmental programs within HWIL.
* Advanced signal generation and presentation, across IF and RF test environments
* Experience working across multi-disciplined group of engineers.
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
* Integration experience including hardware, software and/or firmware.
* Experience with schematic capture software (i.e. Mentor, CREO, etc.
* Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for security clearance.
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills
* Existing SSBI clearance
* Experience with electronics design and/or experience conducting data analysis
* Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers
* Knowledge of networking and IP addressed based equipment
* Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
* Able to work and interface with a cross-discipline team
* Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
* Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance
* Familiar with various communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, CAN, 1553
* Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar languages; scripting languages such as Python and/or Perl, and MATLAB scripts for data analysis purposes
* Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
