Overview

Job Summary The LAUNCH Systems of Care Coordinator – Education & Training supports the Sewa Uusim/Systems of Care program operations for the Education & Training focus area. The incumbent is responsible for the development and coordination of the focus area of services and activities within the Systems of Care model for youth and families. The Resource Coordinator will provide monthly workshops for parents, activities for children ages zero to eight, and presentations for parents/caregivers related to the issues, needs, and strengths of special needs children.

Focus areas may include Community Partners, Youth, Families, Education and Volunteerism programs.

Responsibilities
  • May perform supervisory duties for community members and youth working within the LAUNCH Systems of Care.
  • Prioritize and assign work; ensure community members and youth are trained; ensure that employees follow policies and procedures; maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Assist the System of Care Clinical Director in coordinating meetings, activities, and follow-up of advisory boards, coalitions, and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate support services including educational, youth and parenting groups, resources focus programs for Sewa Uusim youth and families, wraparound teams, other departments, and community services.
  • Write, review, and update semi-annual and annual reports summarizing activities and program progress.
  • Implement System of Care activities including wraparound, system of care principles, family and youth groups.
  • Present and facilitate on key areas such as systems of care, wellness, and prevention areas including alcohol and substance abuse.
  • Document and maintain training and participation records of staff, youth, and family with the Systems of Care, including sign-in sheets, required grant and program reporting, and evaluation forms as necessary.
  • Assist with the development of policies and procedures relevant to program content and implementation.
  • Assist with development and implementation of assessment tools and procedures, including creating a database, survey tools, and reporting documents to analyze data.
  • Develop, present, and monitor educational programs for the community on prevention service issues within grant requirements.
  • Attend and participate in committees to promote and gain support for programs and communities within the System of Care.
  • Maintain the training program for Sewa Uusim staff using the Essential Learning Tool.
  • Develop educational relationships for Project LAUNCH T.O. College classes.
  • Coordinate and develop the Pascua Yaqui Track for A.A. degrees with T.O. Community College and T.O. Circles of Care.
  • Develop and coordinate outside training for evidence-based and collectively focused training for Pascua Yaqui professionals, paraprofessionals, and tribal community members.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by supervisor or director.
