The University of Arizona School of Architecture invites applications for the following part-time Adjunct Lecturer teaching positions for the  Fall, Spring and/or Summer at less than 50% time.

Adjunct lecturers will teach any of the following courses in the Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and/or Master of Science in Architecture programs:

* Foundation Studios

* Core Professional Design Studios

* Research Option Studios

* Advanced Technology (structures, construction, and environmental systems)

* Design Communications

* Architecture History and Theory

* Professional Practice Courses

Your teaching load may make you eligible for benefits if you work a .50 FTE or greater for 90 days or longer. As courses and loads are determined, we will notify employees should they gain benefits eligibility status.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Teaching and preparation for the specific course(s), as required.

* Participation as a member of the Faculty of Architecture by attending relevant meetings.

* Minor service responsibilities to the School.

Minimum Qualifications

* Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch); OR

* B.S. with 15 years of experience in active architectural practice(s)

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced degree in architecture.

* Professional licensure in architecture.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
