A Teacher in the Tucson Unified School District Two-Way Dual Language Program advances student achievement through effective management of the learning environment, including preparing lesson plans, evaluating, and monitoring student performance and progress in alignment with the 90/10 immersion model. Our teachers provide effective and equitable instruction to students in various courses to address content and language learning goals. Teachers collaborate to develop instructional strategies that encourage students to analyze and interpret class material, maintain a safe, respectful classroom, and nurture curiosity and love of learning.
