Position Summary
:
Salpointe Catholic High School is looking for an experienced High School Theology Teacher. The best applicant for this position will be a practicing Catholic who enjoys working with High School students and has a strong desire to work in a collaborative and supportive community.

• Promote learning and ensure safety.

• Attend faculty and department meetings as well as professional development sessions.

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of the Bishops Framework for Adolescents Catechesis is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in programs that support and encourage the mission of the Catholic Church and the faith and spiritual growth of the students and others.

• Bachelor’s degree in Catholic Theology, Religious Studies, Religious Education or completion of Diocese of Tucson Level II or Common Formation Program is required.
• Experience teaching at the high school level.
• Solid employment history with verifiable references.
• AZ State Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain.
