Unbound Academy is creating a completely virtual, tuition-free charter school that reimagines education. We have replaced worksheets with experiential learning and put personal development front and center. Students complete their academic work in just two focused hours each day using AI-driven tools.

The remainder of their time is spent on workshops designed to cultivate life skills, curiosity, and self-confidence. Your role won't involve delivering pre-written lessons or overseeing a traditional virtual classroom. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions that encourage students to engage with meaningful concepts through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and other enriching topics. You'll mentor them toward greater independence, support their personal development, and equip them with the competencies that truly matter beyond the classroom.

• Facilitating engaging, virtual workshops centered on life competencies such as creativity, communication, and critical problem-solving
• Providing one-on-one and small-group mentorship to cultivate confidence, autonomy, and executive functioning in students
• Leveraging platform analytics to personalize support and monitor student development over time
• Working alongside fellow educators to design and refine project-based learning opportunities
• Establishing a welcoming, energetic environment where students feel valued, understood, and motivated to develop

• Instructing core academic subjects—AI tutors manage that component
• Presenting scripted lessons or maintaining a conventional classroom structure
• Evaluating assignments or preparing standardized lesson plans

• Valid US teaching certificate from any state
• Background in teaching, mentoring, or coaching students (Grades 4–8 preferred)
• Confident virtual communication skills; at ease leading sessions via video
• Availability for full-time work (M–F, 8am–5pm Arizona time)
• Able to start within 2-3 weeks
• Enthusiastic about working in a technology-enabled, student-focused school

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equals $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
