Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, standards-based English Language Arts curricula for grades 9-12.
- Foster a classroom environment that challenges students to think critically and communicate effectively.
- Collaborate with Department Chairs and grade-level teams to refine instructional practices.
- Provide meaningful feedback on student writing and literary analysis.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Certification: Valid AZ Teaching Certification in Secondary English.
- Mindset: A passion for literature, a commitment to high academic standards, and a desire to be part of a collaborative professional learning community.
