FLSA Status: Exempt

Full-time/Part-time: Full-time - 10 months

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging, standards-based English Language Arts curricula for grades 9–12.
  • Foster a classroom environment that challenges students to think critically and communicate effectively.
  • Collaborate with Department Chairs and grade-level teams to refine instructional practices.
  • Provide meaningful feedback on student writing and literary analysis.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Certification: Valid AZ Teaching Certification in Secondary English.
  • Mindset: A passion for literature, a commitment to high academic standards, and a desire to be part of a collaborative professional learning community.
