HowWill You Make an Impact in This Role?
- Effectively manage the Exceptional Education learning environment, prepare lesson plans, provide specialized instruction, evaluate, monitor, and collect data on students’ performance to advance achievement. You understand and appreciate diversity.
- Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
- Complete required case management duties.
- Master’s degree in Special Education preferred, Bachelor’s required.
- At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience in special education in a high school setting preferred.
- Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required upon hire.
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Able to present operational information to personnel at all levels.
- Able to identify and recruit potential funding sources.
