Seeking compassionate and dedicated substitutes to provide support to special education teachers across various schools. This on-call position offers the flexibility to choose working days and preferred schools, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute positively to the education of special needs children while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. Utilizing an automated calling system and online viewing options for assignments, substitutes can easily manage their schedules and availability.
Responsibilities- Provide support to special education teachers, assisting in the delivery of instructional materials and care to special needs students across grade levels K-12.
- Work flexibly, choosing assignments that fit personal schedules while covering needs at any of the following schools:
Apache Junction High School, Cactus Canyon Junior High, Transitional Learning Community, Desert Vista Elementary, Four Peaks Elementary, or Peralta Elementary. - Engage with special needs children in a caring and supportive manner, contributing to their learning and development.
- Maintain a professional and adaptable approach, ready to meet the varied requirements of special education classrooms.
- Previous experience working with special needs children or relevant caregiver experience is essential for success in this role.
- A compassionate demeanor and a commitment to providing supportive educational environments for children with diverse learning needs.
- Ability to work on-call and maintain a flexible schedule, with the adaptability to work in different schools and with students of various grade levels.
$100 for a full day
$50 for a half-day (4.5 hours or less)
